Monica Blackburn
M.Ost BSc ND DO
PRincipal osteopath
Monica graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a first class Masters degree. She practices with a structural & myofascial approach and utilises a wide variety of techniques.
She was first drawn to osteopathy due to its principle of helping the body heal itself. She bears this principle in mind everyday, as she helps patients move through the recovery process and back to leading a healthy active lifestyle.
With over a decade's experience, she truly believes that patients benefit the most from a fully integrated approach to health and healing. It is the balance of body and mind - through daily movement, fresh food and ample time to relax - that leads to true health.
Alongside her private clinic, Monica also teaches student osteopaths at the London College of Osteopathic Medicine in Marylebone and works with the VauxWall Climbing Centre's youth squad in south London. She has also worked with RockTape at both the London and Brighton Marathon expos and was chosen to work on the medical team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
